Michael (a.k.a. Unchained Ninja) is passionate about the web3 space and its limitless potential. Simply put, he goes above and beyond for crypto-art.
His love for art has been lifelong. Born in the 1980s, he created his first website at age 13– and it was dedicated to art: “gif madness.” Incredibly, this was decades before anyone even understood digital art.
He’s explored and enjoyed the crypto space since 2015 but only jumped into the crypto-art space in October 2020 and rode the NFT wave while building a formidable digital art collection. Since the age of 7, Michael’s been collecting Warhammer 40k miniatures, whose artwork always fascinated him. Recently, he began to paint them. He was always interested in art but needed help. Thanks to NFTs, the art world opened up to him, and he now owns several digital artworks he’s enormously proud of today.
His overarching strategy as a collector is only to collect artwork he loves and to uplift and support the artists. He’s led several events to uplift artists in the space, such as the grand opening of his Cyberpunk gallery, where he presented the collected and curated artwork and talked about over 200 artworks. This event allowed the community to come together and experience the art in an immersive virtual gallery, a vision of the future of the crypto art scene that Unchained Ninja believes in.
Unchained Ninja is known for tweeting ‘Your Item Sold’ whenever he collects artwork. Collecting is just one of the ways Michael is helping the lives of artists.
Unchained Ninja is also the CEO and cofounder of Art Unchained, a web3 business focused on creating and curating customized virtual galleries. He believes that virtual galleries will be the art world’s future and allow for a lot of creativity and a bridge between real life and web3 experiences.
When asked about the most fulfilling parts of his journey in the NFT space, Unchained Ninja stated, “No matter what idea you have, in web3, you’ll always find people that can help you realize it.
