“In the next three years, I hope to see more conceptual art, more artists playing with code, and perhaps more video art as well.”

CryptoPunk1477 has firmly cemented herself as a respected creator, collector, curator, and community leader within the NFT space.

Her work is diverse and ranges from time-based media collages and a photo series to digital representations of her ongoing diary project that kicked off back in 2000. She’s always been a passionate collector. Before she started collecting NFTs in 2019, she counted stickers, horseshoes, smartphones, stones, and computers among her collections.

As a founding member of CryptoWiener and a CryptoPunk mod, she also derives great joy from being surrounded by, and supporting, other creatives.

While some collectors pride themselves on a very intricate curating process, CryptoPunk1477 simply trusts her gut and collects NFTs that bring her joy. Upon entering the space, she fell in love with CryptoPunks and is thoroughly enjoying the ride so far.

She has experienced many ups and downs during her journey in web3 thus far and rates accidentally selling her first-ever CryptoPunk by mistake as one of the saddest moments to date.

Although the use of AI in art is no longer a new topic for discussion, it remains a very controversial one. How does CryptoPunk1477 feel about it? She says: “It’s impressive what can be done with it already, and some artists do a really good job working with it. In the end, the person behind it defines the final artwork.”

CryptoPunk1477 has a huge appreciation for the NFT space and is excited about its future. She elaborates: “In the next three years, I hope to see more conceptual art, more artists playing with code, and perhaps more video art as well. I am also very excited to see more crypto art in museums and galleries too.”

CryptoPunk1477 is extremely grateful for the valuable connections she has made since first venturing onto the blockchain.
