SummerBluess is an NFT artist from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, passionate about exploring the art world. Born and raised in this small town, SummerBluess met fellow artists who introduced them to the exciting world of art. His artwork is heavily influenced by 1980s cartoons and music album covers, which can be seen in their bright and bold use of color, intricate details, and surreal imagery.
One year ago, SummerBluess entered the NFT space as a freelance illustrator on Instagram. They saw NFT as an opportunity to try something new and challenge their artistic skills. Since then, SummerBluess has completed several exciting projects, including the poster design for the TieDyeNinja event, and created their own generative project.
When it comes to their artistic process, SummerBluess has a unique approach. They recommend doing the edition work, which is a step that many artists overlook. According to SummerBluess, “Edition work is an important part of the process because it ensures that the artwork is consistent and of the highest quality. This really helps them develop and connect, both with fellow artists and collectors in this space.” They create their artwork using a combination of traditional and digital tools, including watercolors, pens, and Adobe Photoshop.
“NFTs have given artists like me a platform to showcase my artwork to a global audience, and bring the world of art into the digital space,” they share. “I’m excited to see what the future holds for the NFT space and the amazing artists who are pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I am happy to see my friends in the NFT space progressing and blooming. This is one of the things that makes me dig more into this space.”
