CAPTURING UNIQUENESS AND BEAUTY

“NFT provides artists with the opportunity to present their work and find their audience easily, while this space can also support artists financially and make them more focused on creating.”

Mohammadreza Rezania, a.k.a. Reza Nia, is a self-taught photographer from Iran. He has made a name for himself in the NFT space with his fashion and fine art photography.

His work combines fashion and styling through an aesthetic search to create a story, evoking emotions and capturing the viewer’s attention with creativity and originality.

His sharp eye has won him numerous international distinctions, including the Prix de la Photographie Paris (Px3). Drawing inspiration from historical imagery, he appropriates the representational codes of the past to create his photographs.

For Reza, it is more than just setting a scene to photograph. “Since the beginning of my photography career, my primary goal was to create a sense of uniqueness and beauty,” he explains. “To accomplish that, I have coupled fashion and styling as two inseparable parts of my fine art photography with which I can express my emotions beyond portrait photography.”

“In my photography, I pay a great level of attention to all elements and details through every single shot, to hold the attention of my audience,” Reza shares about his talent. “In order to pull it off, colors go hand in hand with light and composition in my photography. With colors, I can evoke emotions and draw viewers’ attention to certain parts of the photo that influence their mood.”

When asked about his background and how it has affected his work, Reza shares, “Maybe I can say that all the creativity I have is because of the conditions and limitations in which I grew up.”

Reza’s journey into the NFT space began in 2021, and he couldn’t be happier with the opportunities it has brought: “NFT provides artists with the opportunity to present their work and find their audience easily, while this space can also support artists financially and make them more focused on creating. In the past, artists had to look for galleries to sell their work, only if they were accepted. Still, with the advent of NFT, artists no longer have to worry about selling their work because there is an audience for every taste in this community.”

For artists looking to get into the NFT space, Reza recommends patience and perseverance. “It takes some time to be recognized in this space,” he says. “What I learned from NFT was that to succeed in this space, you have to be patient and build a personal brand for yourself. One of the best things I like about this space is that artists support each other, which is very valuable to me.”
