DIGITAL SHAMAN

“Creating what I’ve seen and sharing the information in any way I can is the fundamental meaning of being a visionary artist.”

When sculptor and architect Outpsyd discovered NFTs, he found an opportunity to unleash his inner artist even though he could barely understand what NFT art was, what the community was about, or what the culture was all about. In order to understand, he had to go in. And, go in, he most certainly did.

With training in 3d, Outpsyd is now creating what he calls ‘rooms of a huge gallery’ that people can explore with VR.

His creations are meticulous and take many hours, but he’s not about to create, sell, and move on – that’s not his style.

Outpsyd’s works are almost in perpetual progress, limited only by what does not yet exist. He is adding details into his art that are not even visible at the moment but can be explored in VR. He shares: “Imagine you buy an artwork from me, like a piece of my audio emotions. Then, in the future, you get a key and are the only person with this key to access that room and explore it with VR.”

Sharing both his vision and visions through his art is important for Outpsyd. “Creating what I’ve seen and sharing the information in any way I can is the fundamental meaning of being a visionary artist,” he says. “Not all the visions are beautiful, but you have to bring back data and information from the visions you have had access to.”

The first piece that Outpsyd minted two years ago was a static image. From there, he started involving his emotions represented musically and collaborating with artists who were friends or whose music he liked.

Recently, he found his spirit animal in Fat Freddy, and together they are putting art and music together in an experience that reflects Outpsyd’s psychedelic view of the world.

If this is only the beginning of Outpsyd’s creative expression – we can’t wait for the future!
