His portraits and scenes on Foundation, Objkt, and OpenSea are beautiful… They have the power to stir the soul.
This talented illustrator and animator has always shared his artwork, mainly on Instagram. That’s where one of his works went viral in 2020 and exposed him to NFTs. It was two Iranian friends now living in Turkey that introduced and onboarded Or to web3: Mari (@madmaraca on IG) and Amir (@amirzandartist on IG).
Or researched NFTs, web3, and blockchain technology. He dipped his toe into the NFT space in early 2020. Once Mari and Amir had helped to onboard Or, web3 was the push that his confidence needed and the connection to spread the artist’s talent to wider audiences. It was a life-changing moment for Or Yogev.
Today, Or continually shows what an amazing NFT artist he is. He has taken the world of NFTs by storm with his unique and creative works that have been widely praised by critics and fans alike.
He’s since learned a lot about web3 and the NFT space. “The average person has a hard time grasping this crypto concept. When people discover that your digital art is the product, you will finally receive the recognition you deserve as a digital painter, sculptor, or animator.”
One of the best aspects of the web3 space is community and collaboration. The freedom to hang out with favorite artists, have meaningful conversations about art, and form lasting friendships is what he values most about NFTs. He emphasizes its significance by saying, “It’s the most significant thing about this space.”
He says: “It’s crucial to collaborate on web3 to achieve any sort of success. So what I do is seek out artists whose work I enjoy and approach them about collaborating. Without web3, I never would have been able to communicate with them.”
