Leafswan is a name quickly gaining recognition in the NFT world. This Netherlands-based 3d artist pushes the boundaries of what’s possible with AI and digital art.

Leafswan’s interest in the NFT space was sparked in early 2021, around the time of the record-breaking Beeple sale, saying, “I was already familiar with the world of cryptocurrency, and when that sale happened, I knew that I had to dive deeper into NFT space.”

“I use Blender as my primary tool for creating my art,” Leafswan explains. “Recently, I’ve been exploring the use of AI to enhance my work, and I’ve found that it’s been a great way to take my creations to the next level.”

When asked about other artists in the web3 space that they admire, Leafswan is quick to mention Rocketgirl and Claire Silver. “I really admire their use of color and the way they’re able to create such emotive pieces,” they say.

One of the things Leafswan has come to appreciate about the NFT space is the community of collectors and artists they’ve connected with. “Overall, my experience with collectors in the web3 space has been really positive. Of course, there’s always a small percentage of people who are toxic, but for the most part, it’s a really supportive and loving community.”

As an artist, Leafswan is always learning, and they say that one of the things they’ve learned from being an NFT artist is the importance of staying positive and supportive. “I think it’s important for artists to be true to themselves and not follow trends,” they explain. “Being authentic is key.”
