“I came into the space for the technology. So, I love seeing people use it and come up with use cases that fix actual problems that we currently have in Web2.”

Lakoz is here to build. While the nascent NFT ecosystem has grown rapidly over the past few months, let alone the past few years, there is still much to do.

“What brought me in here was the technology side of things, trying to solve some issues in digital advertising, privacy, and data management,” Lakoz shares. “I came into the space for the technology. So, I love seeing people use it and come up with use cases that fix actual problems that we currently have in Web2.”

“My background is in marketing and strategic development. So that was very helpful for me when digital art became the big thing,” he said. Lakoz jumped into web3 in late 2018 and dove into the NFT space’s communities and ecosystem in late 2020. Inspired by the artists, creators, and collectors, Lakoz found his marketing and strategic development skills could be leveraged to help artists and create value for various ventures.

He is an active member of the top communities and involved in ventures pushing the boundaries of Web3.

He joins different projects for different reasons: “I look at some of the projects and also look at what I’m trying to get out of them. There are some projects that I jump into because I love the art, and that’s the main reason why I want it,” he says. “Value exchange is important too, and I tend to gravitate to projects that give me access to people, information, or opportunities in the future. As IRL, it is all about building relationships and networks.”

Lakoz predicts that the NFT market will see a lot more utility projects in the future. He believes the projects that are really going to succeed in the long term are those that embrace that ethos of creating value in a way that we haven’t necessarily seen coming out of web2 or traditional businesses.

Web3 never sleeps, and neither do the builders. Lakoz wants to see people adopt Web3, communities grow, and projects succeed: “I’m always looking for interesting projects to get involved with and support.”

Hat tip to you, Lakoz.
