STAY TRUE TO YOUR ART

“These days I’ve started making bigger, more sophisticated, and wellthought-out pieces, experimenting with other techniques, animating my works, and participating in projects I could only dream about.”

Kitasavi is a multi-talented artist and director creating powerful digital art for the blockchain.

For these dramatic and captivating artworks, Kitasavi incorporates elements of photography, painting, sculpture, and 3d graphics to create a piece. This has captured the attention of cryptoart enthusiasts around the world. His works are a testament to his creativity and his dedication to pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with blockchain technology.

Through his efforts, he reimagines mundane events as part of a parallel universe where anarchy reigns supreme. His works have natural forms, wacky personalities, palpable textures, wild color palettes, secret Easter eggs, witty asides, references to food and travel, and more. His pieces straddle the line between the abstract and the figurative, the real and the ethereal. Pure cryptoart splendor.

His journey to web3 is remarkable. While scrolling through Instagram in late 2019 or early 2020, he stumbled across the term ‘cryptoart’ for the first time. He shares: “When I first heard it, I didn’t know how to react. I took a peek at one of the platforms, saw a jumbled mess, became even more perplexed, and forgot about it until early 2021. I first heard the phrase ‘NFT’ when several of my artist and designer colleagues began selling their work. It was then that I realized this is a possibility for creative people to make more money and have more control over their careers.”

NFTs have allowed Kitasavi to pursue art as a career. Through his NFT sales, he exchanged his worn-out laptop for a powerful new laptop, a professional camera to enhance his photography, a VR headset to sculpt in VR, and stocked up on art supplies. “These days I’ve started making bigger, more sophisticated, and well-thought-out pieces, experimenting with other techniques, animating my works, and participating in projects I could only dream about.”

He advises others not to view the NFT space as a get-rich platform. “You need to put in a lot of time, work really hard, and network effectively to achieve where you want to go. You must establish yourself as an expert in your field, develop a loyal fan base, and promote your unique brand. Don’t beat yourself up if your works don’t go well – and don’t compare your success to others. Each person develops at their own rate.”
