“One of the things that has helped me a lot in my entire career is being able to learn from others and understand that I don’t have all the answers.”

“I got into crypto in 2017 and NFTs in 2020. And once I went down the NFT rabbit hole, I haven’t looked back since,” says gmoney.

As a childhood collector of baseball and other sports cards, gmoney gets collecting, and is totally comfortable with the concept of owning a purely digital asset. Amongst his NFTs, he counts Autoglyphs, Kitties, Squiggles, Beeples, and, of course, Punks. His Ape has now become his digital identity, and he doesn’t see himself selling it any time soon, although he is also a believer in never-say-never.

gmoney also believes that human’s desire to flex their figurative (and sometimes literal!) muscle, to show off, is behind some of the artist and collector personalities in the NFT space – but it’s all part of building the greater community. gmoney supports others who he believes are building promising things and has angel-invested in over a hundred deals over the last two years.

His creation of AdmitOne is about building the foundations of a strong community with common interests and values, going above commercial interests, because as he says: “If you have people that are only focused on floor price, then you have a group of people who are just traders.”

AdmitOne is an access point to all things gmoney, and seeks to democratize the minting and availability of sought-after NFTs. gmoney is also behind 9dcc, a crypto-native luxury lifestyle brand focused on disrupting fashion and culture on a mass scale by bringing the tech into the real world.

Despite a background in traditional finance, gmoney has figured out marketing strategies that have helped him achieve the reputation he has established for himself today. Maybe it’s flexing, or maybe it’s curiosity that brought him to this point.

“One of the things that has helped me a lot in my entire career is being able to learn from others and understand that I don’t have all the answers.” And honestly, who does?
