ERIN ATKINSON
THE PASSIONATE BUILDER
“I don’t know where we’re heading, but I’m in it for the journey. I’m here for the long haul. I want to contribute and give something back to the community.”
Born and raised in Canada, Erin Atkinson is at the forefront of creating digital hubs where creatives are celebrated and exposed to thousands of collectors, artists, and the curious. Having worked in tech for over 15 years, he is well-equipped to bridge the gap between creators and collectors.
As amazing and elevating NFTs are for artists, Erin recognizes that lots must still be built. “I’ve been building this web2 thing, but with NFTs, I can build my own world,” he shares. “I want to bring value to the community in my own way.”
Able to put his skills to the test, he has created virtual galleries that not only showcase the art of many creatives but provide an insight into their creative processes, backgrounds, and online profiles too. The result is a seamless and harmonious connection between the artist, viewer, and a virtual world that encourages users to walk around and view art for hours.
From ‘Opus I’ and ‘Opus II’ to ‘Keep’s Place,’ each virtual gallery – created by Erin – offers a different aesthetic and feel while encapsulating fantastic artworks interweaving with that narrative. The importance of this is that no sub-culture or artistic medium is left behind; he provides a virtual gallery for all creatives to be included.
