People overthink NFTs. They’re not obtained when one joins a weird cult. So many of us wish people would stop acting and thinking this way. Imagine non-fungible tokens vs the internet in 1995. Remember when Newsweek released an article titled “The Internet? Bah! Why The Internet Will Fail?” Little did that writer know the internet would be used for everything we do today; we find day-to-day difficult without online access.

Similarly, many cannot understand the use cases of NFTs beyond art. However, non-fungible assets will be our driver’s licenses, marriage certificates, homes, cars, personal identity, online access, and more. They won’t be called ‘NFTs’ – they’ll merely be called what they are: a concert ticket, a passport, a voting pass, an oil change receipt.

As leaders, we must provide unbiased education and real-world solutions to the everyday consumer for this incredible technology to reach mass adoption. We retain the responsibility not to mint pointless pieces in the Metaverse, as useless technologies consume essential resources. Mint responsibly in the Metaverse.
